There always is a darker side of every good thing and following are the documented side effects of Minocycline to patients:
1) Patients can experience dizziness, but it can be overcome with a slight adjustment in the amount of Minocycline you’re taking.
2) Prolonged usage of Minocycline can lead your gums to turn blue. Though there is nothing to worry as it clears up as soon as you stop using Minocycline.
3) High dosage of Minocycline can cause vertigo and nausea. So if you are taking a dose of about 200mg in a day then its time now for you to lower that dose.
4) Minocycline can also cause pigmentation of the teeth. Though it’s quite rare and once it occurs, the bluish hue will no longer disappear on its own. But if it bothers you then you can visit the dentist to have it concealed.
Some individuals might experince drug-induced lupus erythematosus in the middle of the oral treatment.
